Hello from the north country. Here are two pictures from last week. My brother Don came up to visit for our P-day. It was great having him here. We showed him the sights on the St Lawrence river and Lake Ontario. He had no idea there was all this coastal stuff up here. He treated us to some great meals. He loved eating at the mess hall it was like the good old days for him. We had a great time just talking, the weather was great for a change. It is still cold here but at least the sun is shining. The other picture is so cool. In alot of the soldiers homes they have memorabilia about their careers. This one is about the best I've seen so far. This soldier is recently retire and made these two shadow box pictures. One is for his father a retired airforce NCO who recently died. The other is of his own career with all the patches, crests, ribbons, rank, awards, medals and service ribbons. He is a wounded warrior and earned a bronze star for bravery while in Iraq, where a IUD exploded near him and did damage to his eye and some brain damage. He is not a member but is going through a heated divorce and just needed to talk to someone. His home was really clean and contained all this neat army stuff. It was really interesting listening to him. He is a close friend of one of a recently baptized family. The week was filled up with the YSA dinner and taking around Easter gifts to the spouses. We also did our usual fix-up projects. The work just keeps rolling along, we see the hand of the Lord in so many different ways. Sometimes it's almost a little scarey. We miss you all and trust you are keeping the faith. Take care of the little ones and give them all a hug for us. Love Mom and Dad
